Microenterprise Program
Our Microenterprise Program, powered by LISC Indy, will provide small business owners and entrepreneurs with technical assistance, business coaching, and resource navigation to help grow and strengthen their businesses through a cohort model.
Our Microenterprise Navigator can work with any small business owner in need of support. However, to participate in the cohort and receive all services, business owners must income qualify, have fewer than five employees, and be registered with the state of Indiana.

Technical Assistance
By contracting experts in the marketing, legal, and accounting fields, SEND’s Microenterprise Program can provide information and education to small businesses in the program.

Business Coaching
SEND’s Microenterprise Navigator will provide general business coaching and assistance with creating or enhancing business plans for growth. SEND utilizes Growth Wheel to aid in the analysis and business plan development, and our Navigator is a Growth Wheel Certified Business Advisor.

Resource Navigation
Despite the variety of business support resources that exist in the Indy entrepreneurship landscape, many business owners are unaware such opportunities exist. In response, SEND’s Microenterprise Navigator will work with businesses one on one to connect them to the resources they need to expand their businesses.

Facade Grants
SEND is also a facilitator of the LISC Facade Grant Program. The Small Business Facade and Property Improvement Program provides rebate grants to property and small business owners that are interested in renovating the front exterior. This grant was created to encourage property owners and small businesses to improve the exterior of their buildings and storefronts to attract new customers and beautify the area. The Program has yet to open for 2024.
