University of Indianapolis
The University of Indianapolis is located on the Southeast side
of Indianapolis, just ten minutes from Downtown. Founded in 1902,
the school currently has an enrollment of 4,100 students from
38 different states and 59 different countries. The university
offers 11 associate, 66 bachelor, 21 master and five doctoral
programs.
The University of Indianapolis has played a big role in Greater
Fountain Square for many years. Students and faculty contribute
many volunteer hours to the Fountain Square area, bringing health
care and other important services to residents. The university
also maintains offices and studios at the Wheeler Arts Community.
